[2022-2023] (Innovate UK: £120K) INtelligent FOod Recognition and Monitoring for patient wellbeing (INFORM) in collaboration with Falcon Food Services Equipment

INFORM is an industrial project and aims to develop an embedded hardware that uses computer vision and IoT to automatically detect and analyse food consumption. It will assist care providers to monitor patients’ wellbeing and provide increased quality of care and reduce the quantity of food waste, preserving valuable health service and care homes resources and reducing environmental impacts. This will be achieved through a collaboration between the Stirling Vision and Image Processing research group at University of Stirling and the industrial partner.
